Thursday, July 17

Friday, July 18 

  • 10am: Registration Begins at USC: Vineyard & Patio
  • 10am: Busses leave from Embassy Suites LAX (for those staying there)
  • 10:30am: Brunch at USC: Vineyard & Patio 
  • 12pm: USC Archive Tour
  • 2pm-4:30pm: E2AC Programming
    • E2AC & DKA Partnership
    • Intro to Social Impact Filmmaking
    • History of Distribution
    • Screening & Project Breakdown from Script to Screen To Distribution
  • 4:30pm: Busses leave USC to return to Embassy Suites LAX (for those staying there)
  • 6pm: Outdoor Mixer At Carlson Park (heavy apps & non-alcoholic drinks)
  • 8pm: Karaoke (21+) at Backstage in Culver City

Saturday, July 19

  • 9am: Busses leave from Embassy Suites LAX (for those staying there) to UCLA
  • 10am: The State of Society at UCLA Physics and Astronomy Building, Room 1425 (475 Portola Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90095)
  • 11am: State of the Industry
  • 12pm: Lunch on Your Own
  • 1:30pm-2:30pm: Alumni Panel moderated by Erin Moreland, Tau Alumna 
  • 2:45pm-3:30pm: A Conversation with Curt Schulkey, DeKA Alumnus from Alpha Chapter, 1975 & Supervising Sound Editor/Sound Designer
  • 3:45pm-4:30pm: DKA Wildest Dreams
  • 4:30pm: Busses leave UCLA to return to Embassy Suites LAX (for those staying there)
  • 6:30pm: Busses leave from Embassy Suites to Loyola Marymount 
  • 7pm: Banquet & Awards at Loyola Marymount Sculpture Garden
  • 10:30pm: Busses leave LMU to return to Embassy Suites LAX (for those staying there)

Sunday, July 20

 

Note: For those staying at the Embassy Suites LAX North, transportation will be provided for you the following times:

  • Friday:
    • Hotel to USC and back
    • To Carlson Park
  • Saturday
    • To UCLA & back
    • To Loyola Marymount & Back

If you are staying with a fellow DeKA, friend or at your home base in LA, you will be responsible for your transportation to and from events. We highly recommend looking at the LA Metro for transportation plans.
