Executives Academy 2026

Executive's Academy is Delta Kappa Alpha's yearly training for newly elected Officers. It is held after Convention/Conclave each year.
Attendees Gain:
1. Leadership and Conflict Management Skills
2. A better understanding of DKA processes and policies & best practices
3. A renewed passion for DKA
4. A large nation-wide network of DeKAs who will support through their chapter officer term
Who Should Attend:
1st Priority: President & Vice President
2nd Priority: Any other member of the Executive Board
3rd Priority: Any member of Resident Council
What Delta Kappa Alpha Covers For 2 Chapter Representatives:
Executives Academy is an investment back into our chapters, and therefore DKA Nationals covers the hotel and meal expenses for 2 members per chapter. The only thing we do not cover is transportation.
Shared Hotel Room
Check In: Thursday, July 16
Check Out: Tuesday, July 21
DKA assumes two chapter representatives are comfortable sharing a room with two beds. However, if uncomfortable with that arrangement, we can plan for another attendee to be roommates.
Meals
Thursday-Saturday: Convention Provided Meals
Sunday & Monday: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Tuesday: Breakfast
TRAVELING TO BOSTON:
DKA does not cover travel expenses for Convention/Executives Academy
~Chapters typically budget to send 2 chapter leaders to Convention/Executives Academy
~Some chapters take road trips together!
~If additional funds are needed for travel, we try to raise funds for scholarships that are awarded on an application basis to help members cover their travel costs. Application TBA.

Check-in for EA will begin at 11:30am on Sunday, July 19, and will wrap up on Tuesday, July 22 around 12PM.
